the role:

To streamline the new business process at AREA 23 and AREA 23 ON HUDSON by providing a single point of contact across both agencies, ensuring a consistent approach and story, to maximize all new business opportunities (external and organic), and to facilitate the introduction of new products, services and proprietary tools through collaboration with the different departments at both agencies.

Primary responsibilities include the creation, maintenance and evolution of:

* AREA 23 and AREA 23 ON HUDSON new business deck and required elements, including libraries of:

o Biographies and head shots

o Case studies

o Client rosters

o Category-specific experience slides

o Client testimonials

o Press/awards highlights

Other responsibilities specific to the pitch process include:

* Oversight and guidance of pitches from start to finish


* Participation in the weekly network new business call, including being responsible for updating the AREA 23 and AREA 23 ON HUDSON sections of the status report


* Assessing RFPs, including identifying requirements, deadlines, deliverables, success criteria, plan building, quarterbacking with senior account lead, and ensuring successful implementation of all pitch components


* Identifying agency and network resources and departments required for pitch, and ensuring they are aware of needs/role/requirement(s) (e.g., Presentation Services, Studio, Studio Rx Productions, Marketing Science, Technology team, media planning)


* Standing in for leadership on \"capes and cases\" and pitch presentations when conflicts arise


* Taking an active role in Brand Planning as both agencies build scopes for the following year to ensure alignment with client/brand goals and audience needs


* Working with Account Management, Strategic Planning and Medical Strategy teams to identify organic growth opportunities through regular meetings to assess client relationships and needs


* Working with Leadership to identify and pursue joint opportunities


* Working with all department heads to help them develop the best way to sell their capes and to tell their department's \"story\"
