Develop pre-service and in-service training programs for facility, ensuring compliance from all aquatic staff.
Maintain a safe work environment for both team members and guests through effective training, policies and procedures and analysis of incident reports.
Conduct effective and regular conversations with the aquatics staff to ensure individual development and goals are being met through company performance management tools.
Responding to major and minor first aid situations and monitor the first aid facility staff.
Perform daily aquatic audits of staff performance, ensuring all ILTP standards are met
Complete administrative duties such as interviewing, new employee onboarding, accident investigations, and implement staff training programs and procedures.
Presenting a professional appearance and attitude at all times and enforce safety rules and regulations.
Being actively involved in creating and maintaining a safe environment for all staff and guests.
Other Supervisory/Training duties as required.
Must be at least 18 years of age, personable, have good attendance and availability.
Outgoing and personable, with a commitment to excellence in public relations. Must be people oriented and have excellent communication skills that include speaking, writing, reading and understanding of the English language.
Must be an outstanding leader with a commitment to teaching and mentoring peers and subordinates.
Hold current (or willing to obtain) E&A (Ellis and Associates) license and E&A Basic Leadership Training license
E&A Instructor license preferred (or willing to obtain)
Two (2) years in an Aquatic/Waterpark Facility Supervisor or Training role
Experience working successfully with a variety of employees, including mentoring employees new to the workforce.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by team building and motivational abilities.
Safety-minded and has the ability to stay calm in emergency situations.
Physical Job Requirements:
This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a hot and humid environment and in close proximity to water and chlorine. Potential hazards include: water, chlorine and cleaning chemicals.
Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
Complete all E&A Special Facilities prerequisite skills.
